Two men have been arrested in connection with a seizures of illegal cigarettes by the RCMP in New Brunswick. On May 31, around 11 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Highway 2, in Saint-Jacques, N.B. near the Quebec border. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 140,000 illegal cigarettes. Two men, a 39-year-old and a 63-year-old, both from Saint John, were arrested and released pending a court date in September.
