A Canada Wide warrant has been issued for a witness in a Halifax murder trial. The warrant was issued for Walter Madeaus Brooks after he failed to appear as a witness last week in the second degree murder trial of Demarques Shane Beals. Beals is accused in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Keya Knita Simon at a party in Dartmouth in January of 2011. Police say believe Brooks maybe living in Orangeville, Ontario.
