NS election rhetoric

On the campaign trail, Premier Stephen McNeil was hammering away at school boards voting themselves a 24% raise recently.  He said he would launch a full review of the administrations of school boards if re-elected.

NDP leader Gary Burrill predicts the messy way McNeil handled the teachers’ contract dispute will cost him votes on election day.

The PCs accused the other two of playing politics with education instead of solving problems in the classrooms.
