NS Leaders Campaign on Education

Nova Scotia party leaders are duking it out over education policy this weekend as they campaign for the May 30th election. Premier Stephen McNeil is promising that if he wins another term school closures will end while his Liberals launch a full review of the “administrative structures” of school boards. N-D-P leader Gary Burrill is predicting McNeil’s messy dispute with the province’s teachers will cost him votes on election day. And the Tories are accusing their rivals of “playing politics” with education instead of solving problems in the province’s classrooms
