Sussex Mayor Marc Thorne doesn’t expect the risk of flooding to increase in the coming days, despite forecasts calling for periods of rain.
He added that flooding happens with high intensity rains combined with melting snow that’s still left in the woods and ice in the river, but they don’t have that snow and ice.
