Nova Scotia Power says Hants County is a major supplier of energy generated by renewable resources.
The Avon Hydro System and wind turbines in Avondale, Nine Mile River; Hardwood Lands, Walton and Martock Ridge generate enough juice to power over 10,000 homes.
