Opposition Leader Blaine Higgs told The Leader that the Tories would put a stop to any further Route 11 twinning.
They would scrap plans for a complete twinning all the way to Miramichi, in favour of strategic safety upgrades.
Higgs added that he thinks Route 11 should have passing lanes installed, and there should be moose fencing.
