Upgrades for Flood Prone Hospital in Perth-Andover

The New Brunswick government has issued a request for proposals for upgrades at the Hotel-Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital in Perth-Andover. Officials say the estimated 7.65-million dollar investment will allow for demolition of the section of hospital that’s prone to flooding and has been condemned since 2012. It will also allow for the construction of an essential services building on higher ground. The province says it will seek to recover costs from the federal government and the renovations will be completed by early next year.
