Charges Dropped Against Doctor in Opiod Case

The Crown has dropped the most serious charges against Dr. Sarah Dawn Jones in court in Bridgewater. Prosecutor Josh Bryson withdrew charges of trafficking oxycodone and possession for the purpose of trafficking, saying there was insufficient evidence to show the drugs weren’t being provided to a patient. Bryson however, is proceeding with two fraud charges and one of drawing a document without authority.
