Man charged with murder free on bail again

The man, charged with killing an off-duty Truro police officer in Halifax, is free on bail again.

Christopher Garnier, however, still faces a trial on charges of breaching conditions of his release while he awaits trial on a second degree murder charge in the death of Catherine Campbell.

Police arrested him in February saying he wasn’t at either of two locations where he was supposed to be. Now he’s free again until he faces the breach charges in court in August. The murder trial is set for November.
