Henneberry appeal rejected

Family and friends of Loretta Saunders cheered in the Court of Appeal yesterday when the judges rejected Victoria Hennebury’s appeal of her second degree murder conviction.

Henneberry claimed she was suffering P-T-S-D and panicked when she confessed to killing Saunders. The judges said there was a lack of evidence of any mental illness that would have rendered her incapable of a proper plea.
