The former roommate of a key witness testified yesterday in the drug trafficking trial of Dr. Sarah Dawn Jones in Bridgewater.
The patient, Merle Chase, told court earlier this week he did not receive nearly as many pills as the records showed in 2014 and 2015. His former roommate Norma Wentzell testified yesterday that Jones would bring Chase roughly 30 oxycodone pills in any given month, even though records show thousands of pills were prescribed in his name for the same period.
