The trial of a South Shore doctor accused of prescribing 50,000 pills to a patient is set to begin today.
Doctor Sarah Dawn Jones will stand trial on drug-trafficking charges in Bridgewater provincial court.
When charges were laid about a year ago, Bridgewater police said Jones wrote the prescription for oxycodone and oxyneo pills over a one-year period.
