Three people and a dog had to be rescued by Helicopter on Friday afternoon after being trapped by rising tides in the Bay of Fundy. The two adults, child and their pet were walking on the flats in Burntcoat Head Park near Noel when the tides rushed in, forcing them to cling to the sides of a coastal cliff. A cormorant helicopter was dispatched from 14 Wing Greenwood to lift all three people and the dog by harness to the hovering chopper above. They were assessed by paramedics and released.
