The province is investing in two energy-related projects. $1.5 million is for a new program to upgrade the efficiency of First Nations homes. It will also provide training to community members, with the potential to create jobs and help small businesses expand. Another $4 million is also being put into the current HomeWarming program, with $2 million for a new program for affordable rental units and non-profit housing.
