Rothesay veterinarian Catherine Adams recently watched her longtime good friend and co-worker of 35 years, Susan Elizabeth Gibson; be escorted to a jail cell.
The 62 year old Gibson was sentenced to a year in jail for defrauding Adams and the Fairvale Animal Hospital of just over 50 thousand dollars.
The pair were so close, that the victim is the godmother to Gibson’s granddaughter.
