Plans to build a new 94-million dollar bridge over the Northwest Miramichi River recently came up in the House of Commons.
Federal Infrastructure and Communities Minister Amarjeet Sohi, updated Parliament on the project.
In addition, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Bill Fraser said that planning and environmental work is underway.
Construction on the Anderson Bridge replacement should start in 2019.
