New drone rules don’t fly for an Amherst man

Adam Bickle of Amherst isn’t too pleased that new Transport Canada regulations for drone users have placed bans on prohibiting them from flying in many places.

Drones cannot fly higher than 90 metres; can’t fly at night; cannot be any closer than 75 metres of buildings, vehicles or people; and cannot fly within nine kilometres of airports and heliports, such as the helipad at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
