Hundreds sought in measles case

Public health officials are trying to get in touch with hundreds of people who may have come in contact with a person with measles.

The person was travelling internationally, so a lot of people may have been infected.

Dr. Ryan Sommers, at the Nova Scotia Health Authority, says they are looking for people who flew on WestJet flight WS254 from Toronto to Halifax on March 10 at 9:35 at night. They are also looking for people who may have been exposed at the airport when the plane arrived early in the morning of March 11 as well as St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in West Caledonia on March 11 and the E-R at South Shore Regional Hospital from March 12th to March 15.
