The longtime head of the Sexual Health Centre for Cumberland County has been honoured with an award. Ruthie Patriquin got Sexual Health Nova Scotia’s 2017 Sexcellence Award, which honours people for their work in the field of sexual health education. Among her contributions have been sex ed for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth, and a seniors resource called “Sex Over 50”.
