Education Minister Karen Casey says the province is looking at ways to have high school sports for next school year. Some teachers aren’t willing to do as much extracurricular volunteering after the contract was imposed on them, but not having a teacher at a sporting event brings up an insurance issue. Non-school insurance would be needed for a parent or someone else to step in.
