Sussex artists selected for a PM project

Darren Byers and Fred Harrison of Sussex have been chosen to create bronzed, life-sized replicas of Canadian prime ministers as part of the Prime Ministers Educational Resource and Statue Project being done in Ontario.

The two will join another four artists that were selected.

For the past 20 years, Byers has been a carver and a woodworker.

Harrison is well known as the artist behind many of the murals in Sussex.
