Marissa Shephard has been given four months in jail for assaulting a guard.
She pleaded guilty to last July’s incident at the New Brunswick Women’s Correctional Centre in Miramichi.
She’s there awaiting a preliminary inquiry for first-degree murder and arson in the 2015 death of Baylee Wylie in Moncton.
