Conservative finance critic Tim Houston wants the auditor general to do a forensic audit on $5 million the province gave to the Lunenburg Shipyard Alliance. Houston wants to know why that payment was made despite years of delays and cost overruns on rebuilding the Bluenose II. He says the auditor general needs to make sure it was a good use of tax dollars.
