Nova Scotia Urges Vaccinations after Measles and Mumps Outbreak

Nova Scotians are being reminded to make sure their vaccinations are up to date. It follows the confirmation of three cases of mumps and seven cases of measles in the Halifax area since January. Doctor Trevor Arnason, the medical officer of health for the Halifax, Eastern Shore and West Hants areas, says most of the patients were not fully immunized against the diseases.
