Charges dropped against Bathurst police officers facing manslaughter in Vienneau death

There will be no trial for two Bathurst police officers charged in the death of Michel Vienneau.  Constables Patrick Bulger and Mathieu Boudreau faced manslaughter and other charges, but they’ve been dropped.  The 51-year-old was shot outside the city train station two years ago during an investigation.  A preliminary inquiry was held in the case last year.
