Diversity and respect leads have been hired to help support a safe, welcoming and affirming provincial school environment. The Gallant government is highlighting the specialized teachers as part of Pink Shirt Day. The 15 leads are across all districts and helping with LGBTQ inclusive education, newcomer learners and their families, and positive pro-social behaviors among other things.
