A Moncton air cadet squadron took home several awards at the 2017 New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Tri-Service Cadet Band and Drill Competition this past weekend in Oromocto, N.B.
Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron 650 George P. Vanier placed first of the 18 corps and squadrons that participated in the drill competition. The squadron’s Drill Commander, Cadet Warrant Officer 1st Class Andrew Spicer, achieved considerable individual success, earning the Drill Team Commander Award and Drum Major Award.
