The new Nova Scotia Midget X Winter Hockey League debuts this week. It’s four regional leagues with 33 teams, launched by Hockey Nova Scotia as an alternative to high school players who are off the ice due to the teachers’ work-to-rule job action. Teams will play an abbreviated schedule of 10-12 regular season games.
