Community Services Minister Joanne Bernard says everything is on the table as her department reviews social assistance.
Her comments came after a judge sent a complaint back to the Human Rights Commission about the amount given to recipients for special health-related diets. Bernard says her department spends $8.8 million a year paying for special diets…but the program hasn’t been revamped since 2001.
