NS Woman Awarded Damages from Sexual Assault

A Nova Scotia woman has won $160,000 in damages from a man who sexually assaulted her. She sued, alleging he forcibly touched her genitals after she booked a horse ride at his stables in 2010. The man claimed in court she tried to seduce him — and that he only touched her “on her belly.” The judge thought “his evidence made no sense whatsoever ”.
