Government – union negotiations continue on two fronts

Negotiations have resumed between the McNeil Government and the NSGEU for over 7,600 civil servants.

They rejected a tentative contract last month and are now back at the table. Both sides have agreed not to say anything to the media for now while talks continue.

The teachers union and government also got together on the weekend with a concilliator and again neither side is saying anything about the talks, except that they expect more meetings this week.
