The McNeil Government is moving to get Boat Harbour cleaned up in Pictou County.
The government vowed to close the effluent treatment facility that handled waste from the Northern Pulp mill by January 2020 and restore toe estuary to its natural state. It has now issued a request for proposals, saying it wants an engineering firm to design the major remediation effort.
