A virus has forced the closure of Moncton area Doggy Daycare facility. CTV is reporting that the highly contagious virus Bordetella, more commonly known as kennel cough, has forced Pawsitive Dog Daycare to close temporarily after 45 dogs at the facility contracted the virus. Dogs with the virus develop a dry hacking cough as well as other symptoms including runny eyes and nose, fatigue and fever. The virus does not pose a threat to humans. Pawsitive Daycare is being sanitized and cleaned over the weekend and is expected to reopen on Monday.
