Seriously Injured Former Screaming Eagle Player Returns to Drop Puck in New Brunswick

A former member of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles who nearly lost his life in a car crash 6 weeks ago returned to drop the ceremonial puck at game in New Brunswick on Friday night. Newfoundland native Scottie Greene was injured and left in a coma following a crash near St.Stephen in September. Greene spent part of last season with the Screaming Eagles before being traded and joined the St.Stephen Aces of the Maritime Hockey League for this season. Miracously, Greene was able to walk the tunnel and onto the ice under his own power on Friday night to drop the puck.
