A great white shark that likely has more twitter followers than anyone you know has surface off the coast of the Maritimes. Lydia, a 900 kilogram great white, was first tagged with an electronic tracking device off the coast of Florida in 2013. On Friday she was pinged in Nova Scotia waters. Lydia’s movements are reported through her very own twitter account which announced her arrival in Nova Scotia to her more than 28-thousand followers.
