The NDP plans to improve emergency care with multiple measures. Gary Burrill’s government would implement all recommendations in the NSGEU’s Code Critical report; be an active partner with doctors, nurses, health professionals and communities to deliver appropriate care; and use the announced $120 million to hire more family doctors and improve primary care.
