Nobody was home when a house went up in flames yesterday afternoon in Coxheath.
There were no injuries in the blaze on Keltic Drive and fire crews prevented it from spreading to nearby properties. The cause isn’t known yet.

Rally in support of teachers
There was a rally outside the provincial building on Prince Street yesterday supporting the teachers. More than 300 people showed up to show their opposition to the legislated contract. Local NSTU President Sally Capstick said she thought we lived in a democracy.
