A 32-year-old man from Centre Rawdon is dead after crashing his vehicle in Hants County late Friday night. RCMP say the man’s truck was spotted in a ditch on Ashdale Road in Ashdale by someone passing by. Police say it appears the man’s truck left the road and struck a tree. The 32-year-old man was found dead inside his vehicle.

Two Cape Breton Tech Companies Receive 1.7 Million in Funding
Two Cape Breton Tech companies are receiving 1.7 million dollars in federal funding. Mark Eyking, Liberal MP for Sydney-Victoria made the announcement on Friday. Slyce Canada Incorporated which makes visual search and recognition technology is receiving 736-thousand-dollars. Unique Networks Incorporated is receiving more than 968-thousand-dollars to further pursue its gaming technology.
