New productions approved

Two new productions are getting money through the province’s Film and TV fund.  TV miniseries Cinema 902, produced by Winter Light Productions, is getting $243,000 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $760,000.  Documentary The Halifax Explosion: 100 Years After, produced by Ocean Magic TV, is getting $78,590 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $271,000.

Screaming Eagles awards

They handed out the hardware to Screaming Eagles players last night.

The big winner was Giovanni Fiore as MVP.  Phélix Martineau took home awards as top academic player as well as best work ethic.  He was also the fan favourite.
