African Nova Scotians across the province will soon get personalized health coaching. The McNeil government is giving more than $96,000 over the next two years to A Matter of Black Health. The project offers coaching and personal plans to African Nova Scotians with, or at risk of getting, diabetes. It’ll be offered in Halifax, Hants County, Cape Breton, Antigonish, Guysborough, the South Shore, the Annapolis Valley, Digby and Yarmouth.

Glace Bay & Area Revitalization Plan
Business Cape Breton in partnership with the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and the Province of Nova Scotia is embarking on a Glace Bay & Area Revitalization Planning process scheduled to take place for the next 3 months. Final recommendations are planned to be released in June 2017. The goal of the project is to work with the local stakeholders to identify projects and initiatives that will have a transformative effect on Glace Bay & Area.
