Finance and Treasury Board Minister Randy Delorey says tax relief for small businesses is coming in next month’s budget.  The income threshold will go up to $500,000 from $350,000, with more businesses paying the lower small-business corporate tax rate of 3%.  Delorey also says the 2017-18 budget will be balanced.

The province has announced $150,000 for the Lunenburg Yacht Club.  The funding will help expand facilities to include a launch ramp and a crane for moving boats in and out of the water, and let the venue host world-class sailing events.
