Cassette comeback in Sydney

There are young people today who’ve never even seen a cassette tape, let alone listened to one.

But it’s the format a band from Cape Breton has chosen for its new album.

Strongboy, a four-piece pop rock band; says that’s because you have to wait a long time to have CDs mass-produced and people are not really buying CDs very much anymore.

They added that vinyl is incredibly expensive to produce.

NS pre-primary program update

Education Minister Zach Churchill says that parents who are worried that space in Nova Scotia’s new pre-primary program for four-year-olds will be gone before they can register, have nothing to fear.

He added that if there are more children than available spots, the department will look to create more spaces.

To register your kid, get in touch with your school board.
