A family of four was forced out of their home by fire last night.
The call came in around 9:00 from the house on Harrison Avenue. A couple, their daughter and grandson got out. The daughter was taken to hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation. No word on the cause of the blaze which caused extensive damage.
The Red Cross is helping with emergency supplies.
Two brothers have been remanded in custody for now in connection with the weekend shooting in Skye Glen.
33 year old James Edward Tyler Goswell, of Stewartdale is charged with aggravated assault and weapons charges. 27 year old Justin Francis Goswell, of Skye Glen, is facing drug and weapons counts. A 34 year old man was treated for a gunshot wound to his leg and released from hospital.
The Goswells were both remanded until a bail hearing Thursday.
