Sydney VETS Canada Tour of Duty

About 15 people took part in a walk on the weekend called the VETS Canada Tour of Duty Sydney walk.

It was to raise awareness of homelessness among veterans. Joe McGillivrary, a representative for VETS Canada and a former member of the Canadian Forces told the Cape Breton Post while there are lots of veterans around here, there are none that they have heard off who are homeless.  He says that has become a big problem in other parts of the country.
