A man charged with murdering a Dartmouth man in 2011 has been extradited from Venezuela. 44-year-old Steven Douglas Skinner is charged with the murder of 20-year-old Stacy Adams on April 10, 2011. CBC news is reporting that Skinner will appear in court on Monday. Skinner fled the country the day after the murder but was eventually tracked down in Venezuela last year.

Man Charged after Victoria Road Break Ins Released on Conditions
A man arrested this week after a series of break-ins in Sydney has been released on conditions. The Cape Breton Post reports that 22-year-old Douglas William Crane of Albert Bridge will return to court on July 12 to enter his pleas. Crane is charged with possession of stolen property, two counts each of assault and uttering threats and 13 counts of breaching court orders. Crane was arrested in connection with a series of break and enters on Victoria Road.
