Arthur LeBlanc will be installed as the province’s new lieutenant-governor on Wednesday.
The former judge and lawyer sat on multiple private-sector boards, and was involved in volunteer organizations. He replaces the retiring J.J. Grant.

Federal, provincial funding for new startup centre in Sydney
Funding has been announced for a new startup hub in Sydney. Momentum will let newer companies access programs, infrastructure, education, training, mentoring and networking opportunities. The feds are putting in over $1.3 million, the province $500,000. Momentum will be based out of the New Dawn Centre for Social Innovation.
