Canada Day is being celebrated at Princess Louise Park.
Events will include a petting zoo and pony rides, bouncers; games, a rock climbing wall; face painting, laser tag; and music. Sussex will have a parade at 3:00, Norton’s is at 11 in the morning, and Apohaqui’s is at 1:00.
The new federal opposition leader Andrew sheer is touring the province this Canada Day weekend.
Shear is in Sussex this morning for a brief stop at the Circle K Irving at four corners at 11:00am. Then it’s off to shake hands in other parts of the province before he heads to PEI.
