50 cybersecurity-related tech support jobs will be created in New Brunswick over the next three years. CyberNB has formal agreements with the International Cyber Security Protection Alliance and Cyber Essentials Direct. The province is investing $840,000 for licensing Cyber Essentials in Canada, and establishing CyberNB as the National Accreditation Body.

Free-tuition program falls short of expected number of students helped
The province’s free-tuition program fell short of initial thoughts on how many would benefit. Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Donald Arseneault says 5100 low-income students got it this year, but the government estimated 7100 would when it was first announced.
