Sussex area outdoor enthusiasts feel that a ranger camp in Shepody’s wilderness is worth saving.
The Schoales Dam Ranger Camp was a retreat for scouts and other groups.
Recently, it hasn’t been used for anything and was facing demolition.
The Homesteaders Association was able to buy the building from the Department of Natural Resources.
A musical fundraiser for the camp will be held Saturday March 11th at the Sussex Senior’s Centre.
